The
Corryville Suzuki Project is a unique string program for violin and
viola which provides a nurturing, non-competitive environment where all
children can develop an appreciation for the beauty of music. CSP
students receive a high level of musical training rooted in Dr.
Shinichi Suzuki's philosophy that every child can learn. We believe
that music-making is a wonderful way for children of every economic,
racial, and social background to communicate, develop skills, and begin
friendships. We have seen these results in our own diverse group, which
includes students from all parts of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. To hear more of CSP, we have two CDs available for purchase: The first is a CD highlighting the work of our students. The
second CD is entitled Suzuki Fun and is a jazz version of the Book 1
songs played by Artistic Director Vincent Phelan, parent Adam Smith and
parent John Vennemeyer. They are available for $15 by sending a check to: Corryville Suzuki Project PO Box 30316 Cincinnati, OH 45230
